Sofía Pérez Romero is the founder and CEO of Cibeles Abogados, a boutique law firm based in Mexico City specializing in Family Law, Assisted Reproduction, and Strategic Litigation with a focus on Human Rights. Since 2013, she has built a strong track record in highly complex family litigation. Her experience encompasses divorce, custody, child support, and parental responsibility cases, with a particular emphasis on the recognition of foreign judgments and cross-border disputes. She also specializes in probate proceedings and parentage cases arising from surrogacy and assisted reproductive technologies. She holds a Law Degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master's Degree in International Law from ISDE Law & Business School (Madrid), qualifications that support her work on matters with a cross-border component.
