Vida Nueva Maternidad was created around a simple idea: surrogacy should never feel like a process you have to face alone. Our agency was founded by a father of triplets born through surrogacy. He experienced the questions, uncertainty, decisions, and emotions that come with this path firsthand. Based in Mexico City, we bring together the people, expertise, and support needed to make every step feel clear, personal, and coordinated. Our international team brings together specialized lawyers, psychologists, doctors, and coordinators
who work closely with intended parents and surrogates from the beginning. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all support. Frédéric Cohen is the Founder and CEO of Vida Nueva Maternidad. Entrepreneurship has always been central to his career. His connection to surrogacy is deeply personal. Frédéric became the father of triplets through a surrogacy journey in Mexico City, an experience that transformed his life and gave him a firsthand understanding of the questions, uncertainty, emotions, and important decisions intended parents may face. That experience inspired him to create Vida Nueva Maternidad around a simple belief: no one should have to go through surrogacy alone. Frédéric leads an international team in Mexico City that brings together coordinators, specialized attorneys, psychologists, fertility specialists, and medical professionals. He remains personally committed to creating journeys based on transparency, safety, empathy, and meaningful human support for both intended parents and gestational carriers.
02. Dr. Israel Cardón Lozano
- Fertility Specialist
Dr. Israel Cardón Lozano is a physician specializing in fertility, reproductive medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics. His medical background includes specialized training in Gynecology and Obstetrics as well as postgraduate training in Human Reproduction Biology. His academic work in reproductive medicine has included research on the relationship between the seminal microenvironment and the endometrium, reflecting his focus on the biological factors involved in fertility, implantation, and assisted reproduction. As a fertility specialist, Dr. Cardón contributes his expertise in reproductive health, fertility assessment, assisted reproductive technologies, and the medical management of fertility journeys. Within the multidisciplinary environment surrounding Vida Nueva Maternidad’s surrogacy programs, his medical expertise helps support coordinated fertility care for intended parents and gestational carriers, connecting reproductive medicine with the broader clinical, psychological, legal, and administrative aspects of each journey.
03. Gabriel Dupuy
- Head of Client Relations & Development
Gabriel Dupuy is the Head of Client Relations & Development at Vida Nueva Maternidad. Based in Mexico City, he serves as the primary point of contact for intended parents, accompanying them from their very first inquiry through every stage of their journey. Gabriel is responsible for building strong, lasting relationships with clients and ensuring they receive clear, timely, and personalized communication at each step of the process. He works closely with the coordination, medical, and legal teams to make sure client needs are properly understood and addressed, and that expectations are managed with transparency from day one. Trilingual in French, English, and Spanish, Gabriel plays a key role in supporting Vida Nueva Maternidad's international clientele, with particular attention to French-speaking intended parents. For him, client relations means being a steady, trustworthy presence for families navigating one of the most important decisions of their lives.
04. Itzayana Granados Flores
- Administrative Coordinator
Itzayana Granados Flores is responsible for the internal coordination and administrative management of surrogacy journeys at Vida Nueva Maternidad. She helps ensure that each stage of the process moves forward in an organized, efficient, and timely manner. She follows the different operational needs that arise throughout each case and maintains communication with the professionals and parties involved in the journey. She also manages relationships with service providers, coordinates appointments and services, and oversees the organization and filing of case-related documentation. In addition, Itzayana monitors payments, expenses, receipts, and administrative records associated with each journey. Her role is essential in connecting the many practical elements involved in a surrogacy process and ensuring that information, documentation, and services remain properly coordinated. Through her structured and attentive approach, she helps create a smoother experience for intended parents, gestational carriers, and the professionals supporting each journey.
05. Betsabet Hernández
- Psychologist
Betsabet Hernández is a psychologist whose professional practice focuses on clinical assessment, emotional regulation, and the preparation of socio-emotional, behavioral, and cognitive evaluations and reports.
Throughout her career, she has worked with institutions dedicated to community care and the protection of children’s and adolescents’ rights, where she has contributed to comprehensive psychological support and emotional care. At Vida Nueva Maternidad, Betsabet provides psychological support to gestational carriers throughout their surrogacy journeys. She accompanies them with a professional, attentive, and empathetic approach, helping them navigate the emotional experiences that may arise before, during, and after pregnancy.
Her work is centered on creating a safe and structured environment in which each gestational carrier can express concerns, process emotions, and receive appropriate psychological support throughout the journey. Her commitment is to promote emotional well-being while ensuring that each woman feels heard, respected, informed, and supported at every stage.
06. Georgina Santiago Garcia
- Surrogate Coordinator
Georgina Santiago García is the Surrogate Coordinator at Vida Nueva Maternidad and the first point of contact for every candidate who joins the program. She reviews each candidate's background to confirm she meets the program's requirements, then coordinates her medical evaluations, studies, and documentation to determine eligibility. Once a surrogate is accepted into the program, Gina continues to oversee her journey, staying on top of appointments, treatments, medications, and studies, and stepping in whenever an issue needs attention. She also manages medication schedules and the agency's medication inventory, and stays in close contact with physicians and the other teams involved in each case. For Gina, being a Surrogate Coordinator means being the link between the surrogate and the agency: accompanying her, listening to her, guiding her, and staying attentive to every detail of her journey.
